Bio In 1959 he won the Bournemouth Tennis Championship against William Knight, 3–6, 2–6, 6–2, 7–5, 9–7. Was also a finalist in 1965 at Beckenham at the Kent Championships against John Newcombe, 6-3, 6-1.
In 1965 at South Orange he saved 10 match points against the world no.1, Roy Emerson, however, he finally lost the match 8-6, 10-12, 6-12.
