Bio Eros started doing sports at age of 12. He was a youth champion in fencing, tennis and table tennis.
He started playing tennis at Haggibbor club in Cluj. In 1939, he finished in 3rd place in the Romanian nation championship. Then he moved to Bucharest. He won the individual and doubles national table tennis championship twice in a row, and was a member of the team that won the championship three times between 1934-36.
He stopped fencing first, but after moving to Hungary in 1948 he was still a member of the Hungarian fencing team preparing for the Olympics. He represented Hungary twice in tennis at Wimbledon (1947-48). In table tennis, He won three singles titles in the Romanian championship and then became members of the Hungarian national team. He participated in a total of 5 World Championships (1936-37, 1939, 1947, 1950). He represented the Hungarian national team at two table tennis world championships: in 1947 in Paris and in 1950 in Budapest. He only achieved results at the 1947 world championships where he played against France (5:2) and Wales (5:0). The team consisted of Ferenc Sidó, Ferenc Soós and him in those matches. They finished in 3rd place in Group B with two defeats.
The team finished in 5-6th position at the world championships. With these two performances, he appeared twice in the national team.
Results in the Hungarian league:
Member of the championship team in 1954 with Vörös Meteor. The team members are: Jenő Csender, Mihály Fóris, Ferenc Sidó, György Simon, Kálmán Szepesi, László Várkonyi and him.
He won another bronze medal in mixed doubles in 1941 for Cluj. His partner is Ottilia Aranyi (Cegléd). He played for a long time in the team of the National Bank (later Pénzügyőr), in NB1.

He was also famous for his fearsome forehand in tennis.
