Bio Rosamund was absolutely multitalented. She was a member of the Longwood Cricket Club, the Badminton and Tennis Club, Institute of Modern Art, Footlight Club and the Boston Authors Club.
She wrote a book, her first book, a novel for girls, entitled "Londonderry Heir", was published in 1934. The prospective bride is one of the leading tennis players of the country and has held national as well as New England first-ten ranking. She has played on Boston's Sears Cup team.

In 1940, she married ti Edward Nicoll Fenno (1875-33 Feb 1950). He was graduated from Harvard University, where his clubs included the D.K.E., Hasty-Pudding Institute of 1770, Iroquois and Fly. While at Harvard he was on the varsity track team.
Miss Newton's fiancé belongs to the Tennis and Racquet, Country, Varsity and Woods Hole golf clubs and the country club of Barbados, B.W.I. Edward died while abroad in Bermuda in February of 1950.
