Andras (Andrew) is a tennis historian, author, journalist, wikipedia editor, lyricist and communications expert who has worked across all branches of media on three continents. In the public sector he served as deputy press chief at Ministry level and as cultural assistant at Embassy in Tokyo. In the private sector he has held roles as editor-in-chief, specialist commentator, press chief, and international media expert as well as former UN correspondent and long-time member of the U.S. State Department Foreign Press Center. Contributor of the historic Tony Trabert interview archived by the International Tennis Hall of Fame, Andras also professionally mentored by Hall of Fame tennis historian Steve Flink.
As the guardian of József Asbóth's sports heritage — Hungary's only male singles Grand Slam champion (Roland Garros, 1947) — and official family representative, Andras bridges tennis's storied past with its present. He is also an active sports agent representing former Grand Slam champions, bringing the legends of the game closer to today's audiences. He is dual, Canadian-Hungarian citizen.
