Biography
Delightfully spontaneous, capable at any moment of releasing breathtaking winners, an artist with a tennis racquet in her hand, Hana Mandlikova collected four major singles titles in her illustrious career. An explosive shotmaker who played stupendously from any part of the court, Mandlikova was as dazzling as any player could be when she was in top form. Two of her crowning moments were final round triumphs over Martina Navratilova at the 1985 and 1987 Australian Opens.
