Bio Kristien Shaw, also known as Kristien Shaw-Kemmer or Kristien Kemmer was an American professional tennis player.
She had a career-high singles ranking of No. 10 in 1977.
In her career, she reached a final in the singles at the Edinburgh Cup in 1977, and in doubles at the WTA German Open in 1973 paired with the South African Laura Rossouw, and at the Virginia Slims of Washington in 1977, paired with compatriot Valerie Ziegenfuss. In the Grand Slam tournaments, she achieved her best result reaching the semi-finals of mixed doubles at the French Open in 1973, paired with Frank Froehling, and at the US Open in 1977, paired with Butch Walts.
In 1974, Kemmer was a member of the World Team Tennis champion Denver Racquets.
